"We'll see where we go with it. They have some great storylines coming up this year. There are ways to reinvent it, too." he said.

Since it debuted and drew 10 million viewers, the show has been on a ratings tumble with its latest episode only bringing in 4 million viewers for the network.

He went on to talk about Nashville, promising "some great announcements about people who are going to appear" and reiterating his love for the show.

More definitive when it came to Castle, he said: "We want to see Castle on the air for many years to come", and then spoke about the route that ABC is going to take when it comes to American Crime and Secrets & Lies.

Stating that both dramas could return, their second seasons would see brand new crimes and a handful of their core characters.

Derek Hough is out of Dancing With The Stars, which returns on March 16, and Lee insists that more diversity is to be brought onto The Bachelor.
