Alesha Dixon would like her own talk show.

The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge has revealed she is a huge fan of the American chat show legend Oprah Winfrey - who ruled the airwaves with her self-titled show for 25 years - and hopes to one day tackle "real issues" on a show of her own.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "One day I'd love to have my own show.

"Oprah Winfrey is my biggest idol. I absolutely love her and admire her. Her show, I think it's such a powerful platform for people to want to go and express what's going on in their lives and social issues.

"That kind of show, one day, for me, would be so appealing. To have something that is real and deals with real issues and brings attention and light to areas that I'm passionate about.

"I don't know when, or how, or what time it should go out, but it's a dream I have for the future."

The 35-year-old beauty admits she would be open to a spot on the 'Loose Women' panel, joining her pals Jamelia and Myleene Klass, but is concentrating on her music career for the time being.

She explained: "I'm a big fan of 'Loose Women', I love the fact it allows you to have a voice and opinion, it's an incredible show. And I love watching Jamelia and Myleene on there - I think they're doing a brilliant job. For me, at this moment, it's music - that's my passion, that's why I started out in this industry and that's where my heart is."

Alesha is also friends with 'X Factor' judge Cheryl Cole and says she isn't surprised by the singer's secret wedding to French restaurateur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini earlier this month.

She said: "I'm so happy for her. I love people that go for it in life. Life's too short and we're all far too judgemental. I say this, if she's happy then that's good enough for me. She's living in the moment and good for her."

Alesha Dixon launched Virgin Media's Race Bolt at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, where she set a time of 5.56 seconds on the 40 metre track, only 1.7 seconds slower than the virtual Usain Bolt.

The Race Bolt challenge is open daily to the public at Glasgow Green until August 3.
