The former Sugababes beauty may have been given the boot from 'Celebrity MasterChef' earlier this month for her stodgy rice but that hasn't stopped her from getting stuck in to another culinary series as she teams up with Sky to front the forthcoming show 'Guess Who's Coming to Dinner'.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she explained: "It's kind of like 'Loose Women' meets 'Come Dine With Me'. So literally I don't know who's coming to dinner. I'm there and you kind of get to know who's going to cook for you either in studio or in a beautiful restaurant. It's very last minute, so the producer doesn't tell me until the very last minute it could be reality stars to singers to actors to politicians."

The 32-year-old singer has already shot one episode with former 'X Factor' star Chloe-Jasmine Whichello and was pleasantly surprised by her down-to-earth approach to TV.

She said: "We had, and she was an absolute pleasure to interview and I still haven't forgotten her, Chloe Jasmine. I've heard all this stuff, but I never judge people because voices and noise and conversation and I dunno people can just say so much about you and I always wait until I meet the person.

"But this young lady was an absolute pleasure, she was so funny and she's very well spoken and maybe people judge her because of that. But she's a bit tongue in cheek; some of the stuff maybe some people take it too seriously because some of the stuff she was coming out with was pretty hilarious. She really tickled me and she loved the food."

Amelle has 19 more episodes to shoot for the series, which is expected to hit television screens later this year, but she believes the new concept could be a huge hit with viewers.

She said: "I think there'll be 20 episodes. We kind of discuss over dessert and everything and we rate the food out of 10.

"Then it kind of gets a bit nervous at that point to see what we'll be rating and what we think of the restaurant. There's lots going on and we talk about literally, you know things you chat about with your friends, or whats going on with the news or we'll have a person who is actually part of that news or what we're chatting about with his own words or her own words telling us what's really going down."
