Designed by renowned costume designer Laura Jean Shannon, the super suit is the first glimpse of the show that fans have gotten their eyes on, ahead of the series’ debut on the upcoming DC digital streaming service, operated by Warner Bros. Digital Network.
Titans comes from executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter, and will follow a group of young superheroes in-the-making from all corners of the DC Universe.
Dick Grayson will emerge as the show’s leading hero, taking a group of crime-fighters such as Starfire and Raven through their paces as they train to become some of the biggest superhero names in the world.
Thwaites stars alongside Tegan Croft as Raven, Anna Diop as Starfire, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove and Lindsey Gort as police detective Amy Rohrbach.
The show is something that’s been in the works for some time, originally set to debut on cable channel TNT, before a sequence of production postponements meant that plans had to be changed.
As one of the biggest parts of the DC Universe, we imagine there are going to be some big and exciting storylines explored when Titans finally does make its debut on DC’s streaming service. Exactly when that is remains to be seen, but we’ll bring you more information on the show as and when we get it.
