The talent series has seen some impressive singers, magicians and awful but memorable acts since it hit screens this month, but one competitor the panel - comprised of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon - won't be forgetting for a while is Dutch act Magus Utopia from tonight's episode.

The performance started off with a man settling down to sleep in a bed positioned in the middle of the stage but, within seconds, he'd managed to transform into a girl.

As the bed burst into flames, the man reappeared before he's stuffed in a cage and four spears are pushed through the centre - leading to it being set on fire.

As the rest of the team put the small blaze out with an extinguisher, the man reappears - in one piece - on the bed while the audience look on in amazement.

Although the act was somewhat scary, it got a standing ovation from the judges.

Alesha said of the mind-blowing performance: "It was like a scene from a movie. Was so slick, costumes, acting, everything about that was first class."

David suggested that there was enough content to make a "two hour Vegas show", while Amanda compared it to Cirque du Soleil and Simon's "dark mind."

She joked: "It was so twisted and dark, like the inside of Simon's mind."

Magus Utopia received four yeses from the panel and have made it to the next round.
