Brooke Vincent has apologised to her 'Dancing on Ice' partner for not listening to his instructions, not bending her knees and for snapping at him during training.

The 'Coronation Street' actress took to her Instagram account this morning (22.12.17) to thank professional skater Matej Silecky - whom she's been paired with for the forthcoming competition - for being patient with her and moving away from his family in the United States in order to practice with her for the show.

She wrote: "@mbs_seaturtlepig thank you for being patient with me I promise I'll try and listen fully before I go off and try and do what you're asking of me wrongly, because I didn't listen sorry for being a snapper at times sorry for making you go over the same thing 20 times because I need it to be perfect. I will try and bend my knees more thank you for laughing at my jokes thank you for getting up at 5am most mornings with me to train thank you for moving 3375miles away from your family&friends to be my coach.... But most of all thank you for giving me 110% everyday for the past 2 months.. (sic)"

She concluded the sweet post by wishing him a merry Christmas and instructing him to rest up at home before coming back to tackle the skating competition with her.

She said: "Now.... have fun back home, rest up.. fly back and let's go get it!!! (sic)."

The competitors now have a two-week break before they will take to the rink again but bosses have warned them not to over indulge over the festive season.

A show insider said recently: "Everyone wants to make sure the huge return of 'Dancing On Ice' is super- slick, so they're keen to ensure all the celebrities are fighting fit. They've had a word with all of them and told them to lay off the festive fun and all that comes with it so they're fit for the launch. It's mainly to make sure their professional dancers won't feel the difference and have trouble lifting them when the new year comes around. It will also make sure injuries or drop-outs are avoided."
