Cadbury are hoping to bring joy to the nation this Christmas, in its biggest festive campaign of all time. Taking their advent calendar and supersizing it with the help of 24 Cadbury purple trucks, every truck represents a numbered door of the calendar. With the trucks departing to different parts of the UK, each day in December's lead-up to Christmas will see the doors flung open and a surprise revealed.

Though the ad is available to watch online, it won't hit television screens until November 7.

David Lodge directs the ad, setting it in Bournville, Cadbury's home, and showcasing a host of treats ready to fill the trucks.

Marketing Manager at Mondelèz International, Claire Low comments: "Cadbury has a well-loved place in family homes during the festive period and has been bringing joy to the Christmas Countdown with its advent calendars for over 50 years. Inspired by this, we created the ultimate advent calendar that delivers joy in a way that only Cadbury can at Christmas. Don't forget to keep your eyes peeled in case a Cadbury truck opens its doors near you!"

A series of clips will show the nation what's hiding behind the truck doors throughout December, available through TV, on demand and online platforms from December 5.
