The 54-year-old presenter left the show last year to focus on training for her upcoming round-the-world solo flight, but would love to work with her fellow panellists again.
She said: "I'd like to work with the 'Loose' ladies again.
"I was a newbie on it - not one of the legends - but we get on like a house on fire. The great thing is we're all a bit different and we like each other for that.
"We're on a group text and still speak all the time."
Carol feels lucky she is in a position to have been able to leave her job on the show to pursue her dream as other women her age don't have the same opportunities.
She told Woman magazine: "Leaving 'Loose Women' was my choice as I wanted to do the flying.
"A lot of women in their 50s want to do things, but sometimes they're not confident enough or not in a financial position to do so, but luckily I am.
"Whether other people think it's right or wrong is irrelevant - it's my decision."
