Catherine Tyldesley has got engaged.
The 'Coronation Street' beauty - who plays ditzy blonde Eva Price in the ITV soap - is set to walk down the aisle in the near future after her personal trainer beau Tom Pitfield popped the question recently.
The 30-year-old actress took to her Twitter account last night (30.08.14) to announce the news, teasing: "Anyway... I have something to tell you all..."
After being inundated with messages from curious fans, she followed up 10 minutes later with the tweet: "So pleased to tell you all that I'm going to be Mrs Pitfield. I said YES!!! Love you @TP_PTfitness So happy. what a year!!! (sic)."
The loved-up couple's happy news comes just a week after the stunning star revealed that she and Tom are expecting their first child together.
Catherine - who is due to give birth in March next year - said last weekend: "It's like everything has gone fast forward, but it's not remotely scary. It just feels 100 per cent right, which is very different for me because I am the world's most indecisive person.
"I will ask everybody's opinion on everything, whereas I am totally sure about this ... I feel strongly being a mother is something I am supposed to do."
