The Chuckle Brothers would love to appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother' - as long as there is plenty of whisky in the house.

Paul, 71, has confirmed the double act have been in talks for a possible stint in the infamous abode on a few occasions, but his brother Barry, 74, believes show bosses previously thought the comic pair "weren't nasty enough" for the programme.

When asked if they've ever been approached for 'Celebrity Big Brother', Paul replied: "We have yeah, so you never know, maybe one day we'll give it a go.

"It would be fun, as long as they've got whisky in there and not just beer and wine."

Barry added: "I'd probably do 'Celebrity Big Brother'. We were asked and they were talking to us about it but nothing came of it. I think they thought we weren't nasty enough."

Paul admitted his wife Sue is keen for the 'Benidorm' stars to appear on Australian jungle-based reality show 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' instead, but Barry isn't sure he is fit enough nowadays.

Barry said: "I would have done 'I'm A Celebrity' a few years ago, but I think I'm getting a bit past it now. I'm not sure I could do all those things that they want you to do."

Speaking in a joint interview with I Talk Telly, Paul added: "I know the wife wants us to go into the jungle on 'I'm A Celebrity' so that she can go in that Versace Hotel ... I know her game.

"She'd be drinking champagne and having caviar while I'm eating a load of rubbish in the jungle."
