Craig Revel Horwood feels "great" after having surgery on his hip.

The outspoken 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge went under the knife at the weekend to be fitted with a titanium joint and is already recovering well.

Referring to the lyrics of the David Guetta track 'Titanium', he tweeted: "shoot me down, but I won't fall, I am titanium! Hip op done and have stood for the first time now for the walking bit...feeling great tho (sic)"

And Craig even joked that his new artificial joint will set off airport alarms.

Asked by a follower if he now "beeps in airport security", he replied: "yes I will do when I can eventually walk (sic)"

Craig previously vowed the operation wouldn't stop him from taking his seat on the 'Strictly' judging panel alongside Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Darcey Bussell.

He said: "I'm having the operation on Sunday and I will be back at 'Strictly' the following Saturday night.

"I hope to be walking but if I have to be brought on in a wheelchair, that's fine. As long as my mouth is still working, the show will go on."
