Craig Revel Horwood expects Ed Balls to be in the 'Strictly Come Dancing' final.

The choreographer may have given the former MP and his professional partner Katya Jones low scores throughout the competition, but he understands his appeal to the public, though he is still unsure whether the audience will vote for entertainment or genuine talent when it comes to the famous glitterball trophy next month.

He said: "Ed isn't the most graceful but he is just fantastic.

"The pressure is on him now because everyone can't wait to see what he does next, but he's so popular with the public that he could make the final.

"I just can't call whether the audience will vote for someone amusing or endearing or a deal dance talent."

The judge isn't the only person impressed by Ed as 'Great British Bake Off' star Mary Berry told him she is also a fan after attending the live show recently.

He said: "Mary is a huge fan of the show so it was fabulous to have her come down and watch it live.

"I took her for a spin around the dance floor, even though she admitted she was a bit nervous about it.

"And she even told me she's got a soft spot for Ed."

While Craig thinks show favourite Danny Mac is the "perfect package", he thinks he needs to do more to show the skills of his professional partner Oti Mabuse.

He said: "Danny is feeling confident and rightly so - he's the perfect package!

"But he needs to rein it in a bit sometimes and make sure he shows off his partner too."

And Craig is also impressed with the progress Louise Redknapp has made with her partner Kevin Clifton.

He said in his column for Woman magazine: "They're all such a talented bunch now but I'm so impressed with how Louise's confidence has grown over the series.

"She's totally blossomed and I love it."
