The former 'EastEnders' star was rushed to hospital in August with septicaemia and claims dental implants she had fitted on the show are the cause.

She told The Sun: "I'm suing the makers of 'Celebrity Botched Up Bodies' for £750,000 to cover lost earnings.

I've had sleepless nights and crying about the state my teeth are in.

"Sometimes you want to go out for dinner and have a great big bit of steak but I can't do that - I'll probably bite in to it and [the implant] will be stuck in the meat."

Meanwhile, the 43-year-old actress revealed three months ago that she had to have all of her gnashers removed after contracting the illness.

She said at the time: "I've been in hospital. I've had to have all my teeth removed for a blood and bone infection, through no fault of my own. I'm not on drugs and I'm not pregnant ... I'm just very poorly with a blood infection."

Septicaemia is a type of blood poisoning, which is caused by bacteria, and can prove fatal if left untreated.

Urgent medical care at hospital is required to stop the infection progressing into sepsis, which occurs when the body's immune system goes into overdrive and can reduce the blood supply to vital organs such as the brain and heart.
