The 2021 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! kicked off last night (November 21st) and to everybody’s surprise, Emmerdale star Danny Miller seemed to be the most nervous when it came to facing his fears.
Not getting off to the best start, he was a part of the yellow team who lost three trials consecutively and were sent to spend their first days in Gwrych Castle’s ‘The Clink’.
Then, when it came time to vote for a celebrity to take part in the first eating trial of the series - a challenge called ‘The Dreaded Diner’ - it was Danny who was chosen by those watching at home, having admitted in his introductory VT that he was somebody who gags at pretty much everything; including even the thought of gagging!
When we saw him then reaching for the sick bag during the helicopter ride to the castle grounds? Well, his fate seemed sealed…
At this early stage, it doesn’t look like Danny is going to enjoy any aspect of his I’m A Celeb journey.
Still, there’s quite a way to go; perhaps the relationships and bonds he makes whilst in the castle will outweigh all of the negativity that is undoubtedly going to come his way. He’s already getting over-excited about sharing a camp with football legend David Ginola, for example.

Back to Danny though, and it seems as though this isn’t going to be the easiest ride for him. The best thing he could do is give it his all in tonight’s trial and bring home all of the stars. If he shows that he can get through it without throwing up or ‘making a meal’ of things - excuse the pun - then the public could let up on the pressure and go back to who we thought their initial target for the trials would be - Richard Madeley.
If he does provide some major entertainment through his torture, though? It’s game over. Danny will be voted into the trials repeatedly and he’s going to have a very rough couple of weeks. We’ve seen it happen with the likes of Helen Flanagan in the past and voters can be predictable!
