The winning snapshot will be announced at a star-studded ceremony hosted by Dermot O'Leary at The O2 in London on January 20 and from today (25.08.15) the NTAs are getting TV lovers to rise to the ultimate challenge to come up with the best overall 'TV Moment of the Year' so far.

The top TV clips could be anything from a topless Aidan Turner in 'Poldark' , Sue Perkins breaking Nadiya's biscuit box on 'The Great British Bake Off, 'Britain's Got Talent's' hypnodog act, which put Simon Cowell into a trance, and the live reveal of Lucy Beale's killer on 'EastEnders'.

Viewers can nominate their favourite TV scenes at nationaltvawards.com until December and the best ones will be aired live on the night on ITV.

The 42-year-old TV presenter is up for an award himself on the night having been nominated alongside Ant & Dec for the Best Entertainment Presenter gong for the fifth time.

All the National Television Awards categories - from new drama to comedy programme, entertainment presenter to talent show and soap - will be open for public voting from October 2015.
