The fitness-conscious TV star - who split from husband Matthew Robertson in November - recently revealed she's been tweeting the wrestler-turned-actor because she admires his "hardworking" attitude and "positive energy", and now the 'Baywatch' star has reached out to offer her support.

He said: "It's amazing to have somebody saying such complimentary things about you -- I will keep a look out for her on Twitter for sure.

"Davina seems like she has a lot of positive energy herself, because saying nice things about others is a big sign that you are confident in yourself.

"She is going through a difficult time at the moment, so my advice to her is to just keep on going.

"I've been there, I have been in a dark place, and if there's one thing she needs it is to talk things out, because nobody should be suffering in silence.

"Talking it through and not going through it alone is half the battle won."

But Dwayne - whose partner Lauren Hashian is pregnant with their second child, a sibling for two-year-old Jasmine and half-sibling for his 16-year-old daughter Simone - laughed off Davina's comments she wants to marry him.

He added to The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "I am not so sure I can help on the marriage front -- but it sounds like she is talking some really positive steps.

"And when you are happy within yourself, everything else has a habit of falling into place."

But the 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' star encouraged the former 'Big Brother' presenter to keep up with her regular workouts to cope with her heartbreak.

He said: "Is working out good medicine? Absolutely. The thing with getting in shape is it takes real focus.

"While you are focusing on that you are essentially training you brain from getting away from any current problems to getting into shape -- and your brain does it without even knowing.

"I have had some real intense workout regimes over the last few years and it pretty much takes up most of your time and thoughts."

Davina - who has kids Holly, 16, Tilly, 14 and Chester, 11, with Matthew - admitted recently she's desperate to meet the WWE legend.

She said: "I think Dwayne Johnson is hardworking, gives more than is expected, funny ... I want to meet him. I'm literally sending him messages all the time, I'm thinking, 'persist, persist!'

"He's so big, I'd have to climb up his thigh. I just think he's a really nice guy, great, positive energy."
