The 31-year-old businessman has become the latest contestant to get the boot from the reality TV show - and miss out on Lord Sugar's £250,000 investment - after he failed to impress in tonight's (18.10.17) episode when his team lost the robot task.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Elliot said: "I'm obviously disappointed, I would have loved to have gone further - I didn't enter the process to go out first but, at the same time, I feel like I held up well in the board room with Lord Sugar and within the process and I thoroughly enjoyed my time on there."

Elliot found himself in the board room alongside Harrison Jones and Project Manager Michaela Wain fighting for his place in the competition after his team Vitality - made up predominately of men - failed to sell their robot - resulting in a measly profit of just £5,785.60 in comparison to team Graphene's impressive £57,827.55.

The contestants were told to create a walking, talking, robot, pick their target audience, voice the gadget and pitch it to big corporations and small retailers.

However, somewhere along the line, Vitality managed to trip themselves up as they changed the name of their robot from Jeffrii to Siimon after they'd done their recording - meaning their pitch was confusing for top corporation bosses.

They also decided to aim their device at people over 60 but offended Lord Sugar - who is 70 - by suggesting that people over that age would have memory loss and would benefit from the robot reminding them to take their medication at certain times.

Despite getting the boot from the show early on in the process, Elliot is determined to focus on his business, in which he aims to create an online private tutoring system that is affordable for every one, rather than use his experience as a way into fame.
