Actor Rory McCann has been spotted in Belfast at a hotel frequented by the HBO and Game of Thrones cast members during filming this week, according to fansite Waters on the Wall.

Though his character Sandor Clegana aka The Hound appeared to die in an episode of season 4 following a duel with Brienne of Tarth, fans are now speculating that the fan favourite could be back in a brand new twist.

McCann has no other projects lined up right now, and there's no obvious reason for him to be in Belfast outside of returning to Game of Thrones - though we must note he could simply be travelling, or filming a funeral scene, or perhaps even a flashback.

Returning cast members Natalie Tena who plays Osha and Art Parkinson who plays Rickon have also been spotted in Belfast, after being noticeably absent from the show for some time now.

Kit Harington is also still in the country, happily posing for photographs with members of UK dance troupe Flawless.
