With the announcement last year that NBC are currently developing a Taken television series, with the original film trilogy's co-writer and producer Luc Besson on board as executive producer, fans have been left wondering just where things would be going.

Now it's been revealed that Alex Graves - famous for his work on Game of Thrones and Homeland amongst other things - will be acting as a director on the pilot episode of the show, where he'll also serve as an executive producer.

Alexander Cary will be working as showrunner on the prequel series, and having worked with Graves on Homeland in the past there could be some brilliant results from the already-tight duo.

There's no news on just what the show will be delving into when it comes to the small screen, but it's a fair bet to presume Liam Neeson's character Bryan Mills will be followed during his younger years and time in black ops.
