A hugely-anticipated meeting between an aunt and nephew who don’t even realise their family bond is finally taking place in next week’s episode of Game of Thrones, as Jon Snow arrives at Dragonstone following an invitation from Daenerys Targaryen. Will he bend the knee to the true heir to the Iron Throne? That’s something we’ll likely not find out until the episode debuts, but for now, we’ve got these five episodes to pour over, showing Jon arriving on the Dragonstone shores and teasing what looks like it could be a very tense exchange between the two lead characters…

As can be seen in the pictures, it looks like the job of welcoming Jon to the Targaryen home will fall to Tyrion Lannister, who’s serving as Hand to the Queen.
We know that Daenerys will be demanding Jon bow down before her, but as we’ve seen from his interactions in the past, he can be a stubborn son-of-a-gun.
Whether frosty or fiery, this dance of ice and fire will no doubt set the stage for all that’s to come in the rest of season 7, and the final six episodes of the entire series in next year’s season 8.
