The 'Only Way is Essex' star has admitted she's desperate to introduce herself to the 45-year-old actor when she heads over to Los Angeles, California, in the summer because he's the "ultimate man" for her and her obsession with him is out of control.
Speaking to new! magazine, she said when asked who her celebrity crush is: "The Rock. He would be the ultimate man for The GC. Seriously, it's a bad obsession. I'm planning to go to LA in the summer, so I'm going to do my darnedest to hutn The Ro9ck down and not take no for an answer."
And the 37-year-old star is determined to be in the best shape possible for the potential meeting as she's hoping to lose at least four stone by next month.
She explained: "So far I've lost 1st 2lbs. Obviously, because I'm bigger, it takes a while to see it. I'll have to drop another two - three stone to notice a difference. I'm planning to lose 4lbs a week and, by April, I've worked out that's nearly four stone."
Gemma hasn't had the best of luck when it comes to her love life over the years but she's decided to change the type of men she goes for now because she doesn't want to date a "player" anymore and would rather have a companion who's invested in her.
She said: "I don't want a player anymore. I don't want somebody who I've constantly got to chase. I want somebody who's invested in me as much as I am them ...
"I want kindness, loyalty... they've got to be really funny and have a bloody good job. I don't want to be the main breadwinner.
"I'm getting older and do want a companion. I've got such a busy schedule that, at the end of the day, I just want to meetup with someone and have a cuddle."
