Gemma Collins has left Australia and vowed never to return after her "traumatic" experience on 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!'

The 33-year-old reality TV star quit the show yesterday (19.11.14) after struggling to cope with the harsh jungle conditions and is now on her way back to Essex, after vowing to "never" return.

Gemma Collins has left Australia and vowed never to return after quitting 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!'.

Arriving at Brisbane Airport, she's reported by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "I'm really excited to be going home. I can't wait to get back to Essex.

"I don't regret my decision to leave the jungle. I'm never going back in there. It was really, really traumatic."

'The Only Way Is Essex' star - who claimed all she wanted was a ham sandwich and a packet of Quavers when she was given nothing but porridge to eat on the ITV reality show - appeared down as she arrived for her flight but is said to have cheered up momentarily when a fan jokingly offered her a tin foil package containing a ham sandwich.

Speaking after her departure from the jungle, Gemma - who claims the emotional turmoil of splitting from boyfriend Alex Moss just hours before she flew to Australia for the show had proved too much for her - described the experience as "hellish".

She said: "Don't get me wrong, I love going for walks in the forests in England where there are no wild animals.

"I will never ever dislike nature, but I will just never ever come to Australia again."

Following her sudden departure, 'Coronation Street' actor Craig Charles has also decided to leave the jungle after learning that his older brother Dean had suffered a fatal heart attack.

Meanwhile, former Conservative MP Edwina Currie and 'The X Factor' contestant Jake Quickenden are set to join the remaining celebrities on tonight's episode (20.11.14).
