Love Island's Jamie Jewitt, Amber Davies and Marcel Somerville had to see the paramedics after Gemma Collins "wiped them out" when she plummeted through the stage floor during BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards on Sunday (22.10.17) afternoon.

The 'Only Way is Essex' star has admitted she's still in "absolute agony" after she tripped over the rising trapdoor - carrying the winners of the Best TV Show - but feels more sorry for the trio as they needed medical assistance after she crushed them.

Speaking on 'This Morning' today (23.10.17), she said: "I must say I'm in a bit of shock still. But I have found the whole experience absolutely hilarious. However, I am in a bit of pain this morning, I'm not going to lie. The seriousness of it is... What people don't see under there there's all machinery going on.

"Because the three Love Island guys were coming up on the stage. I just want to apologise, as I wiped them out. They had to go and see the paramedics afterwards."

But she believes she owes them because Jamie and Marcel jumped to Gemma's rescue as they were afraid her legs would get crushed by the moving trapdoor.

She explained: "You have to dust yourself off. I just wish I hadn't got so excited and spun round to give them an award.

"They [the Love Island cast] were screaming, 'Get her up, get her up - her legs are going to be crushed' because the platform underneath was raising up and my legs were dangling over the end of it. So thank you to two Love Island guys. The poor girl there nearly got totally crushed. There was nothing of her."

The 36-year-old blonde beauty even quipped that she was planning to sue the BBC.

She joked: "I carried on. I did give them the award and I went on to present with Rita [Ora] and Nick Grimshaw. It's one of those moments, I'm never going to live down! Where there's blame there's a claim! I'm in pain but the show has to go on guys!

"I'm off to 'TOWIE' filming now. So there's no rest for the wicked. It was my left side. I have a bit of a booty going on. Thank god for that, it has protected me."
