Harry Hill has said he'd feel "creepy" if he dressed in drag for the new series of Stars In They Eyes.

The television personality will host the show and is to impersonate different celebrities each week, but fears he's now too old to dress as females.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper he said: "I'm not going to be any female singers. I'm too old for drag now. I look a bit creepy."

Asked if the show is to follow in the old format, Harry explained: "It's a mix between celebrating 'Stars In Their Eyes' and taking the mickey out of it."

Happy to give his audience a laugh by dressing up himself as various stars, he insists he'll be kind to contestants as it wouldn't be right to "take the piss out of their performances."

In a chat with heat magazine he said: "Well, I'll find out about them and do gags around that. I can't really take the piss out of their performances - that would trash the format entirely and I think that would be a mistake.

"They will each get presented with a Stars In Their Eyes souvenir pencil. In my mind, the whole thing is about being fun rather than changing their lives or getting a million-pound recording contract."

He also revealed the singers he'll be dressing up as, adding: "I'm going to do Pharrelll, Daft Punk and George Michael."
