Hawkgirl isn't going to be alone on the small screen with the upcoming seasons of Arrow, The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow, with new reports claiming that Carter Hall AKA Hawkman is now going to be introduced through both Arrow and The Flash before making his Legends of Tomorrow debut.

EW have given more details on the news, along with a character description for Hawkman and a tease of just how the two Hawk-characters have started to handle their endless reincarnations:

"As you may have heard, Carter Hall, aka Hawkman, is coming to DC's Legends of Tomorrow, but I hear we'll actually see him pop up on The Flash and Arrow first. Described as charismatic and wise beyond his years, Hawkman is a natural-born leader with an abundance of charm and confidence-well, that's because he's 5,000 years old. Much like the comic book iteration, Carter retains his memories of his past lives each time he is reborn, though his lover (aka Hawkgirl) is born anew. In other words, Kendra Saunders will have no idea who he is at first."

As the major pillar of both the Hawkgirl and Hawkman mythology, reincarnation has seen a number of reboots, retcons and different takes on the heroes throughout the DC Comics universe, but the description given for the series' adaptation states that it's Hawkman's job to seek out the newly reborn Hawkgirl to deliver the news of rebirth.

The CW have not yet given any news on casting for the male role, but Ciara Renee is of course stepping into the Hawkgirl mantle after being revealed a few months back.

The Flash returns for its second season at 8pm on The CW on Tuesday, October 6, with Arrow following the night after at the same time and DC's Legends of Tomorrow expected to premiere in early 2016.
