Helen Flanagan doesn't think she's taken seriously as an actress.
The 23-year-old model, who starred in 'Coronation Street' from 2000 until 2012, is struggling to secure acting roles after her stint on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' in 2012 because bosses think she's better suited to reality TV.
She told OK! Online: "I've got a few projects coming up. Reality TV ... I trained as an actress but because I went into the jungle I think sometimes it's hard for people to take you seriously as an actress.
"I'm really open-minded but I am actually a natural born actress, it's my character. But it's because I've done reality TV, and I do enjoy my modelling work. I just like to do things I enjoy, I live for now, I don't think ahead too much."
Helen, who has also appeared on 'Celebrity Wedding Planner' and 'Celebrity Super Spa', is reportedly being eyed up for this year's upcoming 'Strictly Come Dancing' as BBC bosses are keen to add some "glamour" to the show.
A source said previously: "'Strictly' needs some glamour for the next series and Helen has it by the bucketful.
"She was a huge success on 'I'm a Celebrity' and there is no doubt that she will pull in lots of viewers if the BBC do manage to get her signed up."
