House of Cards will be making its return to Netflix later this month, as the series continues to tell the story of power-hungry Frank and Claire Underwood (Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright). Fed up of trying to work their way into the hearts of Americans, the couple have a new plan that could see them change the course of American history in a big way; perhaps bigger than any family in the White House has ever done before them.

This season will more than ever show the cracks in the relationship shared by Frank and Claire Underwood, as the former comes up with the idea of ‘One Nation, Underwood’. Though the season’s slogan may be ‘Together We Are Strong’, Frank and Claire may not have much time ‘Together’ left. Check out the trailer for the upcoming fifth season below:

Also starring Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Neve Campbell, Derek Cecil, Paul Sparks and Joel Kinnaman, House of Cards welcomes new showrunners Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese for season 5, after the show’s original creator Beau Willimon stepped down following season 4. The showrunners also serve as executive producers with David Fincher, John Mankiewicz, Daniel Minahan, Kevin Spacey, Joshua Donen, Dana Brunetti, Eric Roth, Robin Wright, Michael Dobbs and Andrew Davies on board.

House of Cards seasons 1-4 are available now on Netflix, with season 5 making its global debut on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
