The 'Damned' actress shot to fame as Dobby in the Channel 4 comedy show and she still feels "really grateful" to have been cast in the successful sitcom, so much so she would love to reprise her role as the I.T. worker.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I'd definitely do 'Peep Show' again, I loved doing it. It was such a brilliant experience. I miss it, because I did lots of series and I sometimes remember that I'm not going to do it again and it's quite sad.

"It was also my break and I'm always really grateful to have been cast in it."

Should 'Peep Show' ever return, Isy doesn't think it should be back on screen too soon, and would love to see David Mitchell and Robert Webb's alter-egos, Mark Corrigan and Jez Usborne, in 20 years' time.

She added: "If we did one now, David and Rob are in their early 40s and I'm going to be 40 in August so there's that thing where it's almost got to be people in their 30s pretending to be in their 20s, or people in their 60s pretending to be in their 70s.

"So they're probably right to wait for 20 years. People would be like, 'They're 47 and they're pretending to be 27?' "

Despite missing the programme, the former 'Shameless' star thinks it was right to stop the show, which came to an end in December 2015 after nine series, before pushing their luck.

She said: "Unfortunately, when we did the last series I felt glad we weren't pushing it further than we should.

"I think it's really tempting when something works to keep that machine going until it completely gives up rather than letting it have a dignified send off.

"I think it was probably the right decision, but I do miss doing it."
