The 27-year-old actor, who has been playing the villainous David Platt since 1990 is feeling "very nervous" ahead of next month's special programme and thinks there'll be a hitch as previous unrecorded shows have gone so smoothly for the cast.

Jack comments "Yeah, everyone is nervous. We've done two now and they've gone very well with no cock-ups."

"So when this third live episode got announced, I was thinking, surely we're going to go wrong on this one?"

Jack admitts that he and his on-screen family, particularly Les Dennis, who plays his stepdad Michael Rodwell are particularly bad at laughing when shooting a scene.

Jack told Heat magazine "We did a scene yesterday, all the Platts were there and we were all p**sing ourselves laughing. And it wasn't even funny, what we were talking about."

He continues "We did the scene and none of us looked at anyone, we were all looking at separate corners of the room while saying our lines."

"Les Dennis is the worst. The thing is, as soon as Les is in a scene, you automatically laugh at him, just because it's Les Dennis."

"Also, he'll just laugh in our faces when the camera is on us and not on him. He's awful."
