The former 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional dancer has been with the blonde beauty for 17 years - and married for 13 years - and believes the secret to their successful relationship is down to their experimental fun with raunchy gadgets.
Speaking to the MailOnline, he said: "After 17 years would I suggest trying sex toys? It's spiced up our love life a lot, so, I would definitely urge couples to experiment with toys. There are brilliant things for massage and they aren't seedy, they're romantic!"
And the couple aren't afraid to come up with new ways to spice up their sex life as they're both very comfortable with one another.
He said: "Yes, we trust each other a lot and we are very comfortable around one another. I mean, Ola farts all the time around me! Only joking, she doesn't!
"Any relationship at the beginning can always be a bit embarrassing and worrying, but after 17 years together, being open with one another is key to having a strong relationship. Surprise your partner! Shock them with something! It's not easy to do, but be aware you have to make an effort."
But the 38-year-old groovy mover doesn't just rely on naughty bedroom antics to keep their romance alive, as James thinks regular date nights are vital for success.
He said: "We will go out or stay in whenever we can. Even at home with wine and a nice meal, watching a movie. I don't think it matters what you do, as long as you are having quality time with one another - rather than me being on the golf course."
However, James will no doubt struggle this month as Ola, 34, is currently taking part in 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!', which means she'll spend up to three weeks locked up in a jungle with little to no contact with the outside world.
