The former footballer has been bombarded with jobs following his successful stint in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house last month and is looking forward to becoming an ambassador for the fashion label Reem because it will take his mind off boozing.

A source exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Jamie is over the moon with the offer.

"He's always had a hidden interest in clothing so this is definitely a direction he was looking to go in. Since leaving the house he's been doing a lot of partying and appearances in clubs but this will give him something to really sink his teeth into."

The 30-year-old hunk has hit the headlines recently after her struck up a relationship with Bianca Gascoigne - the daughter of footballing legend Paul 'Gazza' Gascoigne - in the infamous abode and then dumped her without telling her a few days later.

Although he's adamant his decision to call time on his relationship with the blonde bombshell was for the benefit of his children Archie, six, Harry, five, and George, three, whom he has with his ex-wife Danielle Lloyd, Bianca didn't find out that she had been ditched until one of the former athlete's friends leaked the news to the newspapers.

She said recently: "I totally respect his decision, obviously children should always come first. It would have been more respectful to hear the news from him first rather than reading about it in the newspapers."

Although she seems fine about the split now, Bianca was no doubt confused when she heard the news, as just days before Jamie had referred to her as "the one".

He said at the time: "She's definitely got that potential [to be the one]. She's someone I want to have in my life. She's got her situation to sort out [with her ex-boyfriend] but I'm happy with whatever she wants to do. I'll enjoy spending time with her outside of the house and we'll take it from there. I didn't know she had a boyfriend. We were living in the moment so it was hard to know the real situation on the outside."
