The wild twosome - who made a name for themselves in 2009 when they came sixth in the singing competition after being mentored by Louis Walsh - proved a huge hit with viewers when they appeared on the reality TV show in 2011 alongside Amy Childs, Tara Reid and Kerry Katona and are now reportedly planning to re-enter the infamous house next month as part of the show's forthcoming 'All Stars Vs. New Stars' special.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Jedward caused chaos when they were in the house five years ago and viewers loved it. Producers were really keen to get them back in because they know they're TV gold."

Jedward - whose real names are John and Edward Grimes - persuaded bosses to pay them £1 million five years ago but it seems the Irish twins may be struggling to bag work nowadays as they have accepted a much lower offer this time around.

An insider said: "Jedward were really busy back in 2011. But these days there are less work offers. So 'CBB' bosses were able to snap them up for a fraction of what they paid last time. Producers have already got plenty of mischievous tasks lined up for them. They know they'll be happy to cause trouble and annoy the other housemates."

Although the official lineup is yet to be confirmed, Calum Best - who came third on the show in January 2015 - accidentally let slip he may be making a return.

He told the publication: "I'm going on holiday at the end of the year, but coming back to London in January to do some work ...

"I've got a lot of time for 'Celebrity Big Brother', it has done a lot for me. If I did go back, I would go on the All Stars team and it would be fun."

The 35-year-old hunk will join the show in January alongside rumoured housemates Lee Ryan, reality TV couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Katie Hopkins, outspoken model Jasmine Lennard and former 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional James Jordan, who have all appeared in the flamboyant abode in previous years.
