Jo Brand is to front The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice on BBC Two this year, which will run alongside the main series.
Three different celebrity fans of the show will join Jo each week as she shines a light on the great to the soggy-bottomed from each week's episode.
Credit: BBCChat, unseen footage and an interview with that week's eliminated baker will feature.
The studio audience are also going to be challenged, asked to bring in a bake inspired by the theme for the week, and viewers can get involved by sharing photos of their efforts.
Jo Brand said: "I am absolutely delighted to have been asked to be part of An Extra Slice. As someone who obviously loves cakes but also, keeps a very strict eye on my figure and exercises assiduously to keep healthy, I hope I am a worthy candidate to represent the Borough Of Baking."
