Joan Collins is making a return to Benidorm.
The 81-year-old star will return to the ITV comedy as Solana Hotel Group boss Crystal Hennesy-Vas after a triumphant cameo appearance in the last series.
A source told The Sun newspaper said: "When we got Joan on board it did raise a few eyebrows but she had such a giggle doing it. She loved working with Sherrie Hewson, who stars as Joyce, and the rest of the cast and asked if she could do it again. Obviously, we said yes.
"She'll be playing the same role as last time and hopefully will get a few more lines this time round. Joan is on set this week and is getting stuck in with everyone. She'll probably only be in one episode again but if she can't tear herself away, who knows..."
Joan's scenes in the popular sitcom are due to air next year.
The actress previously revealed she was keen to return to the small screen as Alexis Carrington in a 'Dynasty' revival following the success of the new version of fellow '80s soap 'Dallas'.
