Joanna Page couldn't appear on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' because she'd try to save the cockroaches - rather than eat them.

The 'Gavin & Stacey' actress is regularly offered the chance to appear on reality TV shows, but he has no intentions to ever enter the jungle because the animal-related bushtucker trials upset her.

She told BANG Showbiz: "You know all the jungle stuff, 'I'm A Celeb...', I couldn't even dream of doing that because I love animals so much that I would be charging in front of the camera stopping anybody from doing anything bad with the animals.

"I would be saving all of the cockroaches so I don't think that this would be something I'd be going for."

Joanna is getting ready for the release of her new film 'Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger' - the sequel to 2009 movie 'Nativity' - in which she stars with former 'Doctor Who' actor David Tennant and Marc Wootton.

The 34-year-old star admits it was a real pleasure to work with David, 41, on the movie which is released in November.

She said: "The film, in which David plays a primary school teacher, is all improvised and it was all just great fun. David is really great to work with, really funny, dry and witty and Marc is just insane."
