Following an interesting first season that saw mixed reviews from critics and viewers alike, Scream Queens will indeed be returning for a second season on FOX, and John Stamos is now on board to join the series.

Stamos will be stepping into the role of Dr. Brock Holt, as the anthology series takes this season into a hospital where Holt is a "brilliant but secretive head surgeon", working somewhere where "some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation".
First season stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Keke Palmer, Emma Roberts and Lea Michele will all be returning for the second outing in brand new roles.
Scream Queens returns for its second season on FOX in the US on September 20.
