Lady Gaga and James Corden flipped the switch in their new Carpool Karaoke sketch for the Late Late Show, with the singer becoming the first to swap seats with Corden and help drive him to work. Before she got too far into Los Angeles however, Corden demanded the pair swap back around, with Gaga only recently passing her driving test!

As well as talking about her skills behind the wheel, Gaga sung and dance with Corden to some of her most popular songs including 'Born This Way' and 'Bad Romance', as well as taking on new music from her latest record 'Joanne'; lead single 'Perfect Illusion' and mesmerising follow-up 'Million Reasons'.

Corden also took the opportunity to dress up in some of Gaga's most recognisable outfits, such as the meat dress she wore to the VMAs.

This wasn't the first time Late Late Show viewers saw Gaga in last night's episode however, with the singer also coming out in place of Corden to deliver his start-of-the-show monologue. Halfway through however, Corden stormed out half-dressed and demanded to know why Gaga was trying to steal his thunder.

He joked: "What? You just figured you'd come out and do my monologue? No! That's like me coming out and trying to sing one of your songs! I mean I could. Brilliantly."

Explaining she wanted to hang out on the show, and with the audience behind her, Corden offered Gaga the chance to sit with his band's leader Reggie Watts and occasionally sing some songs from 'Joanne'.

Lady Gaga's new album 'Joanne' is available now in retailers, digitally and via streaming.
