Lady Gaga yesterday revealed that she's joining the cast of the fifth season of American Horror Story, subtitled 'Hotel'.
The singer will take on the role of an as of yet unnamed series regular, and she confirmed her involvement through her Twitter account with a short, spooky video.
Joining the Ryan Murphy horror anthology, she isn't going to be making just a cameo, with Entertainment Weekly instead confirming her role will be a major one.
American Horror Story: Hotel will premiere this coming October with 13 new episodes.
This follows Gaga's work as an actress in Machete Kills, Muppets Most Wanted and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
Major celebrities have joined the AHS cast in the past, with Neil Patrick Harris, Stevie Nicks, Zachary Quinto and many more starring in past seasons.
During its four year run, the series has earned 18 Primetime Emmy Award nominations - could Gaga be added an Emmy to her accolade collection?
