Netflix HQLate 2014 will see the premiere of a brand new Netflix original series based on the life and adventures of Marco Polo.
With clashing empires at each other's throats through brutal warfare, manipulative yet masterful moves and technicalities of high politics, the adventures of the famed explorer are sure to provide riveting viewing.
In the centre of a deadly way in 13th century China, Marco is right in the middle of things.
Directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg are at the helm while The Weinstein Company will produce, and the nine-chapter series will begin shooting on-location in Malaysia, at the brand new Pinewood Studios, with a global cast.
