The queen of baking and the kitchen heartthrob have been nominated for the Best TV Chef - a new category at the forthcoming event - at the glamorous ceremony, held at the Porchester Hall in London, on September 29, 2016.

But they haven't just been singled out for their impressive talents as their tummy-gurgling shows - the 'Great British Bake Off' and 'Saturday Kitchen' - will also go up against 'Celebrity Masterchef' and 'Who's Doing the Dishes' to be crowned the winner of the Best Food Category.

British Boxing Champion Audley Harrison - who took part in 'Celebrity Masterchef' last month - said: "I am glad the National Reality TV Awards have included the Best TV Chef and Best Food Show category into the mix. As a boxer I understand how nutrition and eating the right food plays a part in our well-being and the British public appreciate the amount of tips, excitement, and entertainment food shows bring."

Meanwhile, it's not just the cooking shows that are proving popular with viewers this year as dating programmes such as 'Dinner Date', 'Take Me Out', 'Dating in the Dark', First Dates' and 'Love Island' have also made it on to the list.

'The Only Way is Essex', 'Made in Chelsea', 'Ibiza Weekender', and 'Geordie Shore' are also up for gongs.

Amelle Berrabah, Paddy McGuinness, Christopher Biggins, Ferne McCann and Brian McFadden are also set to go head-to-head for Celebrity Personality of the Year.

Voting commences on www.nationalrealitytvawards.org on August 3, 2016 until September 20, 2016.
