Michelle Keegan was wary of Mark Wright when they first met.
The 'Coronation Street' star and the reality TV hunk fell for each other when they holidayed with friends in Dubai earlier this year, despite the brunette beauty initially being reluctant to start a relationship.
She explained to HELLO! magazine: "I thought he was very polite, but I was wary and didn't want to get involved with someone at that time. But the more we met up, the more I liked him.
"He's a genuine guy, very down to earth and a proper gent - he holds the door open for me and makes an effort with my friends and family."
Their relationship has come a long way and Michelle is now a firm favourite with his family, who include 'The Only Way Is Essex' stars Jessica Wright, his mum Carol and Nanny Pat.
The couple enjoy the same things, including DVD nights, going out for dinner and spending time with friends and family, so Michelle can't wait to move in with Mark when she leaves her role as Tina McIntyre on the ITV soap next year.
She said: "In many ways we are very similar. We love to banter and we just click. I didn't think this would happen so quickly, but we've not rushed into things. If all goes well, we will be look to move in together when I leave 'Coronation Street' next summer."
