Ola Jordan has complained that 'Strictly Come Dancing' costumes have become too skimpy.

The professional dancer - whose husband James Jordan was axed from the show earlier this year - thinks producers are making celebrity contestants feel uncomfortable by insisting they wear flesh-baring outfits in order to win ratings.

She explained: "We dancers are used to wearing tiny costumes, but on the show they are getting shorter.

"I understand some people may feel uncomfortable, especially the celebrities. They need to feel comfortable with the short outfits and if not, the dresses should be longer. I mean, it does not matter how long or short your skirt or dress is. The only thing that matters is how you dance."

The 31-year-old beauty added: "It's happening to the boys now - The producers love it, they are taking the boys' tops off. I think Ashley Taylor Dawson felt a bit self-conscious taking his top off."

Ola also hit out at producers for firing former judge Arlene Phillips in favour of former contestant Alesha Dixon, asking, "What does she know about dancing?", and blasted the hefty salaries paid to the judges, including Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli.

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "They all make a fortune. We get OK money. But compared to the judges? They sit one day a week and get a lot more than the dancers. How is that fair?"

The sexy dancer is wary that her comments could see her fired just like her husband James, who is currently appearing on 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

Ola added: "He was not happy with things and he spoke about it to the producers - they did not invite him back. In some ways it is dangerous to raise your own opinions as you can get ditched, right?"
