Jason Bateman leads new Netflix original series Ozark, in the role of a Chicago financial advisor who is, unbeknownst to many of those around him, laundering money for a drug kingpin. When things go awry, he’s forced to uproot his family and move the operation to The Ozarks, where he bumps heads with a local drug dealer and a gang led by a 19-year-old. With an FBI agent also on his tail, he must complete his laundering jobs to save the life of his family, as each of them struggle to find their way of life in this new world. Bateman stars in the series alongside Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Julia Garner, Jordana Spiro, Jason Butler Harner, Esai Morales, Peter Mullan and Lisa Emery. Bateman also serves as director alongside Daniel Sackheim, Ellen Kuras and Andrew Bernstein, with production from Patrick Markey. Executive producers include Bateman, Chris Mundy, Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams.
Ozark launches globally on Netflix on July 21, 2017.
