Pete Wicks "doesn't know what love is", according to his ex-girlfriend Jacqui Ryland.
The 'Only Way is Essex' star has been slammed by his former partner - who the tattooed hunk was caught sending risqué text messages to whilst on holiday with his previous girlfriend and co-star Megan McKenna, and Jacqui has described her former flame as having a "Madonna-whore complex" because she believes he will never settle down to enjoy a long-term relationship.
She told The Sun online: "I don't know if Pete loves Megan, I don't think he knows what love is to be honest.
"He loves his mum and nan so much, and treats them both so well - you can't fault him with that.
"But you see that in a lot of guys who have this cheat pattern, they're good to their mums but awful and disrespectful to the women they date, it's like Madonna-whore complex."
"He's just a dog and he loves the chase, he'll never change and have a loving long-term relationship."
Although Pete and Megan rekindled their romance after their break-up in September last year, they announced earlier this month they have decided to go their separate ways.
And Jacqui has warned the 24-year-old brunette beauty to "stay away" from Pete and hopes she will be "happy" without him in her life.
She explained: "But I think she'll move on and be happy.
"When you look at them as a couple, Megan is a business woman who's hugely successful and he's just in the background. So for him cheating is like his power - that he can still have whoever he wants.
"She needs to stay away from him, she's a good looking girl with so much going for her and she's building her empire, but all the heartbreak he puts her through will just hold her back and make her lose focus.
"I can see Megan with someone who treats her well and makes her happy - although Pete would hate that."
However, Jacqui believes the pair will get back together out of "familiarity".
She added: "I think they'll get back together as they still hang around with the same people and at the same places, there's comfort in familiarity, but if they've got brains they'll stay away from each other, it's toxic."
