A Prison Break revival is currently being developed by FOX, with a possible re-teaming of Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell - currently starring in The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow - on the cards.

Just months after FOX bosses Dana Walden and Gary Newman confessed at the TCA press tour they'd bring back the series "in a heartbeat", development has started. TV Line reports that the network is formatting the potential revival as a limited-run series with a self-contained storyline, not dissimilar to the style in which 24: Live Another Day hit screens.
FOX itself has not yet issued any news or confirmation of the new season, but it is currently working on revivals of both 24 and The X-Files.
Prison Break ran for a total of four seasons between 2005 and 2009 on FOX.
