Rebecca Adlington "knows" Beth Tweddle will be better than her when they go head-to-head on 'The Jump' this month.

The Olympic swimmer doesn't think there will be any rivalry between her and the world champion gymnast when they take to the Austrian slopes in a few weeks time because she already knows she will trail behind the brunette beauty, 30.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "Beth and I see a lot of each other, I'm sure she will be fantastic at most of the events as she is in great shape, I will have to do my best to keep up. I know she will be better than me."

And, despite owning the pool when she jumps in water, Rebecca doesn't think viewers will see a competitive streak in her when she slips on her thermals and hops in her skis.

The 28-year-old star explained: "Despite being an athlete, I am not actually that competitive which surprises people, I am more of a perfectionist so I will be looking to improve at every opportunity, I don't want to be the first to leave though."

'The Jump' will return to screens across the nation later this month on Channel 4, as a string of celebrities try their hand at skeleton, bobsleigh, speed skating and giant slalom.

Rebecca Adlington is the new face of Slazenger Swim and will be working with the brand to create a pinnacle swim fitness range, which will launch later this year.
