The official Amazon Prime Video first look trailer for the second season of Red Oaks has been revealed, with the show taking fans and new viewers all the way back to the summer of 1986.

A simpler time for many, it turns out that those members and staffers of Red Oaks Country Club aren't having the easiest of lives, and assistant tennis pro David Meyers (Craig Roberts) has seen a year of upheaval.

Following on from his parents' divorce, David was forced to drop out of NYU and leave behind his dreams of becoming a filmmaker. Luckily for him though, his budding romance with Skye is still going strong; the daughter of club president Doug Getty.

When Skye returns home from a trip to Paris however, David finds himself caught between his strong-willed, independent girlfriend and her stubborn father.

David's family and friends meanwhile are all also struggling with their summer of live, with Nash deciding he'll have a hand at gold-digging and Wheeler continuing his quest to win the heart of Misty.

Ex-partners Sam and Judy are also back on the dating scene, going to New Jersey to see if they can score themselves a new love.
