The 24-year-old construction worker - who hails from Derbyshire - has been booted out of the house after fellow housemate Andrew Cruickshanks chose to send him home.

Andrew had to make the decision on who to evict after "stealing" the £18,900 the housemates had accumulated during tasks throughout the week.

By choosing to evict Sam, Andrew became the last man standing of the Second Chance housemates and so also won an extra £15,000.

Explaining his decision to evict Sam, Andrew said: "The only thing I can think of is, the person I'm in competition with - Sam. Sam, I will give you something honestly. I just feel so f***ing guilty."

Sam will now remain in the house until Friday (21.07.17) as a Dead Man Walking and will leave the famous abode with two other evictees, who will find out about their fate on Friday.

Following Andrew's explanation, Big Brother then told the housemates: "Andrew, as you pressed your buzzer and chose to evict Sam, you have not only successfully stolen £18,900 but have also automatically won £15,000 by making yourself the last Second Chance housemate in the competition. Congratulations. You have won £33,900.

"Sam, you will stay in the house until Friday as a Dead Man Walking. You will continue to nominate and take part in tasks but have been stripped of your housemate status forever."

And Ellie - who has got a little romance going with Sam - admitted she was gutted to see him go.

When asked if she was upset about Sam's upcoming departure, she told Kieran: "It's not long, is it? I think we're all just shocked about the game."
