Samuel Anderson is one of the new faces in the latest series of BBC One sci-fi series Doctor Who, and he'd love his own show-related action figure.

Speaking last night at the launch party for new video game Destiny, he said: "I would retire a happy man if I have an action figure! I'd get a wrestling ring with a Hulk Hogan figure and an Ultimate Warrior one and I will win every time!"

Little is known about his character so far, but he is set to have an important role as teacher Danny Pink.

"If what I do makes kids smile then happy days." he said.

What is clear is that Jenna Coleman's character Clara Oswald will be a love interest for Danny, and he couldn't have felt more welcomed when he first stepped onto set with her and new Doctor Peter Capaldi.

"Jenna's been great to me and obviously I worked with her before. I could tell you what happens between us but I'd have to kill you! But the story's good.

Doctor Who continues Saturday on BBC One.
