The 27-year-old singer - who has kids Zachary, nine, and Leighton, five - has admitted that because she's so busy throughout the week, she cherishes all of the time she gets to spend with her sons.

Stacey exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "When you're a working parent, I know it sounds silly, but sometimes car journeys are the only time when you get the chance to spend some quality alone time with the kids when you're not doing anything else."

As a result, the 'Loose Woman' panelist has thrown her support behind a new AA-backed campaign designed to make car journeys a more sociable experience.

The 'Never Miss A Beat' game tests the singing skills of each person in the car - and Stacey, who loves having fun with her boys, revealed they relished the competition.

She said: "It's a really lovely campaign and the boys were so good, they were really excited and were loving it. They were really singing along loudly to 'Proud Mary'! They were brilliant and it was such a fun thing to be a part of.

"I don't know if they were naturals, they're not stage school kids, but they love singing."

Stacey has never suffered a breakdown on the road, but she dreads the prospect of her car failing her while she's en route to the 'Loose Women' studio.

The singer said: "I've been really lucky and I've never had a breakdown, the only time I've ever been stuck in my car is when I've been in traffic and needed the toilet!

"I'm hoping I don't jinx it, and when I'm on my way to 'Loose Women' and I breakdown."

To help families connect on car journeys this summer, the AA has launched the 'Never Miss A Beat' game.
